General characteristics

A lawyer is the one who releases imprisoned players from jail and helps married couples get divorced.

  • The lawyer job is legal.
  • You need at least level 5 to become a lawyer.
  • You can get hired from inside the Los Santos City Hall (see image #1).
  • To be able to release players from jail, you need accept lawyer points. These can be purchased from police officers of rank 3 or higher, at a price between $5,000 and $20,000, or from the City Hall for the sum of $40,000.
  • Each time you release a player from jail, one accept lawyer point will be deducted.
  • You must be next to the prisoner or at the phones outside the jail to be able to release a player. The amount they will have to pay is between $15,000 and $50,000.
  • You cannot release from jail players who received ajail.
  • Also, lawyers are needed for divorces. You can offer your services to one of the spouses for an amount between $1,000 and $3,000.

Skill advancement

  1. To advance from skill 1 to skill 2, you must release 50 prisoners.
  2. To advance from skill 2 to skill 3, you must release another 50 prisoners. (total: 100)
  3. To advance from skill 3 to skill 4, you must release 100 prisoners. (total: 200)
  4. To advance from skill 4 to skill 5, you must release 200 prisoners. (total: 400)

Specific commands

/free

Along with the command, you must specify the prisoner's name (or id) and the price.

Example: /free Nic.eXe 15000

This command allows you to release a player from jail, for a mutually agreed price (in this case, $15,000). The beneficiary can accept or decline this offer. You must have enough accept lawyer points.

/acceptlaws

The command displays in chat the number of accept lawyer points you have.

/ldivorce

It is necessary to specify the name of the married player and the price.

Example: /ldivorce Madalin 3000

When using this command, the player will be sent a divorce offer, which they can accept or decline. You must be next to the player in question.

/jaillist

When using the command, a dialog box will be displayed with all imprisoned players. To be executed, you must be in Jail, next to the desk.
